CLOUDSCAPE To Film SWEDEN ROCK Performance For Possible DVD

May 22, 2006

Swedish metallers CLOUDSCAPE have posted the following message on their official web site:

"CLOUDSCAPE will have their concert at Sweden Rock Festival on June 9 filmed by a camera crew. The audio will be recorded on a 48-channel mixerboard. CLOUDSCAPE hopes that there will be as many people and fans as possible headbanging and singing along during their show. It is not decided yet if the recording will be used for a future live DVD but, if everything works out good this may become reality."

As previously reported, a brand new CLOUDSCAPE track, entitled "Shapeshifter", has been posted online at this location. The song comes off the Swedish metallers' sophomore album, "Crimson Skies", due in Europe on June 3 via Metal Heaven. Japanese and U.S. release dates for the CD have yet to be announced. Check out the album artwork at this location. The artwork was created by by Mattias Norén.

"Crimson Skies" was recorded at RoastingHouse studio in Malmö with producers Anders "Theo" Theander and Pontus Lindmark. Artwork for the album is being handled by Mattias Norén.
